A rather average race at Kansas is the topic of this weeks podcast, which at times felt like more excitement happening on pit road, then in the actual race. Justin Wilson is the top finishing Champ car driver in 9th place, and the rest come in with ho hum results. Jason and Jeff discuss some of the more amusing aspects of the race, which proved more memorable then the racing. Season 2 - Long Beach review |

So long to a good friend. The final Champ Car race took place over the weekend in Long Beach. An impressive field of 20 for the event, and Will Power came out on top with a very strong race. Got to see an old Favorite in Jimmy Vasser race, and a new favorite in Nelson Phillipe. Over all a good race, with some good battles throughout the field. Graham Rahal comes up big in his first IRL race. After sitting out Homestead due to equipment shortages, Graham came back and looked strong after some early problems. Actually NHL and a lot of the Champ car teams looked good on the streets of St Pete. Jason and Jeff discuss the race, and talk about the good day for the Champ car or "Transition" teams.
